ABOUT ME
Yo! My name is Eadan Shamir, also known as 'Shrimpy', on my social media platforms, and I am a self-taught, Australian artist who has been creating videos, tutorials and art-based content on social media for over 7 years.
I have always loved drawing, and have been doing so since I was about 3 years old! But it was only when I stumbled across a YouTube video by Vince Okerman (Vexx), when I discovered the doodle art style, and began taking my art seriously! Since then, I have become one of the largest creators within the "doodle art" community, with a following of over 900,000 incredible people across my Instagram, TikTok and YouTube pages. My goal is to inspire and share my art with as many people as possible, so that maybe I can have the same effect on some people as Vexx once had on me. <3
My art style is made up of many colourful and playful illustrations, fluidly composed within each page. I mainly create "doodle art", yet I also love creating character art, anime-inspired art and portraits too! Some of my most notable collaborations and achievements have been partnering with Squarespace (2020), Skillshare (2020), winning 'Best Australian Artwork' in the Copic Award competition (2023) and designing Oztix's 20th Anniversary logo (2023). I have also partnered with many big art brands, such as COPIC, Ohuhu, Arrtx and BIC Stationary.
